Alberto is a Full Professor of Management at Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna and a Research Fellow with the Berkeley Roundtable on the International Economy (BRIE, U.C. Berkeley). His research work deals with the concept of Appropriation of Innovation, including R&D and Intellectual Property Management, International Management, Open Innovation and Business Models, and Innovation Policy.
Alberto is also the Italian Delegate for Horizon 2020 for Innovation in SMEs and Access to Risk Finance, the Director of the Galileo Galilei Institute at the Chongqing University, and the Director of the Master MIND – Management and Innovation Design. He is also an Associate Editor for R&D Management Journal and Creativity and Innovation Management Journal.
