As more companies are needing to offset to balance their decarbonation pathways this is creating an opportunity for regenerating natural ecosystems. Virginia Castellucci, Head of Sustainability & Advocacy at 3Bee, explains that it is a win-win situation.
Creating a biodiversity oasis
3Bee is a European nature-tech company that develops technologies for monitoring and regenerating biodiversity.
It carries out regenerative biodiversity projects in cities and rural environments, working with farmers and beekeepers to create natural biodiversity oases that restore the ecosystem services. 3Bee’s experienced team provides ESG and environmental training.

At 3Bee, Virginia heads up the team that deals with education and dissemination projects aimed at companies, employees, and schools.
She says: “I deal with new European laws and directives related to sustainability and biodiversity, such as the Nature Restoration Act, CSRD, CSDDD and ESRS standards.
“I also manage the CSR Network, a community of 100 sustainability managers that supports members with continuous updating and training through webinars and events.”
