“The response to our call for abstracts has been impressive,” says Prof. Thierry Rayna, Professor of Innovation Management École Polytechnique and co-chair of the 2019 R&D Management Conference.
“We have had a record number of submissions: over 610 abstracts submitted and 55 proposals submitted to the PhD Colloquium. This shows that the sector is vibrant and we are looking forward to a dynamic conference.”
Eleven themes have been announced
Four plenaries are Mobility, Open Innovation, Industry 4.0 and Design and the plenary speakers will include: Gloria Barczak (Northeastern University); Yves Doz (INSEAD); Sebastian Fixson (Babson College); Christophe Midler (École Polytechnique and CNRS); Frank Piller (RWTH Aachen); Christopher Tucci (EPFL).
The industry speakers are still being finalised but the following companies have confirmed their participation: Ubisoft, Renault, Valeo, Orange and Dassault system.
